Join us for a one-of-a-kind day trip by kayak, starting from the picturesque village of Dëllënjë, nestled along the banks of the Vjosa River – the last wild river in Europe. This is a journey that connects you directly with nature, where the calm river waters meet the vibrant waves of the Adriatic Sea.
After a peaceful paddle down the lower course of the Vjosa, we reach the most thrilling moment of the day: exiting the river into the open sea. This rare transition happens naturally in this untouched ecosystem, offering a unique opportunity to experience the gradual shift in currents, water salinity, and the fresh scent of the sea breeze.
Once we are out at sea, we continue our journey for about 5 kilometers along the coastline, heading toward one of the most isolated and protected coastal areas – the Kallëngë Lagoon, near the village of Delisuf. This stretch of the Adriatic offers a pristine landscape where you can enjoy the peaceful surroundings, spot rare bird species, and immerse yourself in a raw natural environment.
Please note: The river-to-sea crossing depends on weather conditions, especially wind direction and strength, as well as other natural factors that can affect the safety and quality of the experience. The trip is carried out only when conditions are favorable and always under the supervision of experienced guides.
This tour is ideal for adventure seekers looking to combine nature, paddling, and exploration of a rare and protected coastal zone. Come and experience the magic of starting in the freshwater of the Vjosa and ending your journey with the soothing sounds of the sea!
